Expeditions

Our Expedition Rides allow riders to enjoy a journey to distant destinations while spending an extended period of time with a like-minded group of motorcyclists. For 2023, our planned Expedition will take us to the East Coast, riding the famed Cabot Trail.

There are a couple of days on each tour where major highway travel comprises much of the ride, simply because of the vast distance we need to travel to both get there and back. Outbound, through Ontario and Quebec, we'll cover many of the same great motorcycling roads found in our Five-Day Eastern Ontario and Quebec Excursion.

This ride is suitable for large displacement touring/sport touring and adventure touring bikes. We will be running at a spirited pace with a daily distance in the 500-700 km range. The total distance of these trips will be approximately 5,500 km; experience in long-distance touring is recommended, and you should be comfortable riding in formation on major highways. We'll be taking adequate breaks for coffee/lunch/gas along the way as well as stops at points of interest. Each night, we'll be staying in motels/inns, and we try to make dinner reservations at unique local restaurants. Relaxing over a good meal with new friends and recounting the day's experiences is a great way to end every day.

9 Day Cabot Trail
While Cape Breton is the destination, it offers much more than the Cabot Trail. The Fleur-de-Lys and Marconi Trails are equal to the more famous trail for enjoyable motorcycling.
The price of the nine-day Cabot Trail Expedition is $400/person. Book before March 4th and save 25%.

All overnights will be in motels or at private locations, no camping.
